Isko Moreno’s dumb call for Leni to back out draws tsunami of reactions in social media; anti-Isko, anti-Ping hashtags explode

Presidential candidate Isko Moreno on a press conference Easter Sunday urged Leni Robredo to back out from the race while two other bets with him, Ping Lacson and Norberto Gonzalez listened attentively.

Isko’s public announcement for Leni to withdraw has triggered tsunamis of reaction from social media netizens.

Over a joint press conference by Moreno, Lacson and Gonzales at Manila Peninsula, the three jointly declared their united stand not to backout from the presidential race.

They alleged that the Leni’s camp requested them to withdraw from the race.

In return, Isko Moreno Domagoso wants Leni Robredo to withdraw from the presidential race.

According to a netizen, If Isko cannot convince a significant percentage of his Manila constituents to back him up, do his words hold enough water to tempt Leni to back out from the presidential race?

Another netizen took note that Isko was invoking “patriotism” to make it noble for Leni to make it a “supreme sacrifice” to withdraw.

Many netizens feel disgusted over the mediocrity Isko uttered before the camera, dragging two other candidates down at his level.

According to ex NBI, retired officer Ric Diaz in his FB public post: “Anong nangyari sa tatlong itlog na ito at nagladlad na yata? Alam naman ng bayan na Isko ay maka-BBM, si Pinky ay maka-Duterte at si Berto ay tao ni Gloria Arroyo! Kayong tatlong itlog ang Manchurian candidates kaya dapat kayo ang mag-withdraw at hindi si VP Leni na tumatakbo para sa sambayanang Pilipino!”

During the presscon, Moreno called for VP Leni to withdraw from the race, saying: “If they are calling for supreme sacrifice, the “yellow/pink” are calling for supreme sacrifice… Edi ang pinaka-supreme sacrifice, if you are not a good player to win, then you pay the supreme sacrifice, you withdraw. Now we are calling, be a hero, withdraw Leni”.

Moreno’s lambast at Leni has triggered a tsunami of reactions from Leni supporters, throwing hits at Moreno, Lacson, and Gonzalez, and calling the three candidates to backout from the race.
