The Department of Health recorded 8,615 additional cases of COVID-19 as of Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Meanwhile, 25,146 were cured and 236 died.
Of the total number of recorded cases in the country, 3.1% (82,228) were active cases, 95.4% (2,561,248) were cured, and 1.49% (39,896) died.
According to the latest report, all laboratories were operational on October 10, 2021 while there were 3 laboratories that failed to submit data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data over the past 14 days, the contribution of these 3 labs was approximately 0.4% in all samples tested and 0.4% in all positive individuals.
