ABC Chavez of Camarines Sur wants increase of social pension for senior citizens

"ABC" Antonio B. Chavez of 4th District, Camarines Sur

Senior citizens deserve an increase of their social pension as the amount given by the government is too small to provide for their medical and daily needs.

“ABC” Antonio B. Chavez of 4th District, Camarines Sur has talked with senior citizens who shared with him stories of hardship and poverty.

“Once I take my post in Congress, I want that social pensions be increased to benefit senior citizens,” ABC Chavez said.

ABC Chavez is running for Congress in this May elections.

He wants to propose rural development measures through legislation in Congress.

ABC Chavez has visiting rural areas of 4th District, and has taken note of the seriousness the senior citizens are suffering.

When he was Mayor of San Jose, ABC Chavez had implemented programs to uplift the condition of the senior citizens.

During their birthdays, then Mayor ABC Chavez sent the senior citizens chiffon cakes. They were given free medical checkups and free maintenance medicines.

After his 3 terms, his successor as Mayor is his son, Dr. Marco Chavez MD, a young medical doctor who continues and improves his pro-poor programs.

The 4th District comprises the towns of Lagonoy, San Jose, Tigaon, Sagñay, Goa,Tinambac, Siruma, Garchitorena, Caramoan, and Presentacion.
