CASTILLA, Sorsogon – Barangay Captain Alex Sotto of Poblacion this town confirms 19 cases of Covid-19, Tuesday, August 24, 2021.
In his facebook post, Kap. Sotto said seven (7) kids tested positive for Covid-19, a bad news for the Barangay.
Sotto also said, nine (9) kids, three (3) adults and three (3) senior citizens are scheduled for RT-PCR test.
All of them are now under isolation and quarantine, while others are hopitalized.
The barangay officials of Poblacion are now implementing strictly the IAFT protocols, conducting check-up points and mandatory wearing of face mask of all residents, especially when going to public places.
Social gatherings are strictly prohibited in the barangay.
Meanwhile, the Local Government of Castilla is giving food packs to the affected families.
