A young lady bet collector of Small Town Lottery (STL) in Casiguran, Sorsogon, graduated Cum Laude at Sorsogon State University.
The bright student-cum-bet collector is
Daisylen Buenaobra Hael, 22 years old, of Barangay Trece Martires, Casiguran.
During a media interview, Hael said she started as a STL bet collector at the age of 19, which income had helped her schooling.
She finished her course as Cum Laude in Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in Sciences, at Sorsogon State University on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Her parents are happy, especially her mother who is a bet collector chief (Cabo) in their area.
The STL is a legalized numbers game, sanctioned by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), as legal alternative to illegal “jueteng” game.
