LABO, Camarines Norte — A wanted man was arrested in a rape case in Labo town, Camarines Norte on August 16, 2021 around 2:45 p.m.
The 33 -year -old suspect is an agent of the Small Town Lottery or STL, and a resident of Purok 1 Brgy. Father of the said town.
According to police, the suspect is facing a case of seven counts of raping a minor girl.
The case was filed against the suspect because of a complaint by the 16-year-old victim at the Women’s station and Children Protection Desk on May 27, 2021.
It reported the repeated forced molestation and intimidation of her stepfather, who is the suspect.
The victim narrated that whenever early morning dawn came and his mother was not there, the accused allegedly committed sexual abuse.
He also threatened that she would not see her mother again if she tells her mother what had happened.
The said suspect is already in the custody of Labo MPS to be subjected to appropriate disposition and documentation.
