Before the tourism department “Philippine Experience Program” the province started repositioning to be a topnotch tourist destination as the administration of Governor Edwin Hamor took a step forward in launching a plan of action dubbed as 7K Program, that covers seven key people’s agenda in areas of Kabuhayan (Livelihood), Kalusugan (Health), Kadunungan(Education), Katrangkilohan (Peace and Order), Kagandahan (Beautification), Kalinisan (Cleanliness) and Kalikasan (Environment) tasked to improve the existing provincial programs and facilities with funding support enlisting the towns and city of the province as program partners.

Repositioning the province as a top tourist destination in Bicol is now a collective responsibility and hopes that Secretary Frasco extends her inclusive support to the efforts initiated by the Province of Sorsogon.
