Commuters in Sorsogon Province want the LTFRB to show more teeth by correctly restoring the right fares among public passenger vehicles.
According to commuters, jeepney drivers are overcharging passengers, more than the allowed regulated fares.
They want the LTFRB to restore back the regular fares
The worst part is the overcrowding of passengers in jeepneys, placing all passengers under the risk of Covid-19 exposure.
Bus operators are also overcharging passengers.
Commuters want LTFRB intervention in solving the fare issue that is becoming a heavy burden among paying passengers.
