Secretary and Lead Convenor of the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC), Atty. Noel Folengco and Mayor Sharon Rose G. Escoto were sworn in by Kasambayanihan volunteers from various barangays in Gubat, Sorsogon, April 28 at the Encinas Pavilion.
Kaisa ng Sambayanan Laban sa Kahirapan (Ka-Sambayanihan) is the volunteer program of the NAPC.
It is part of the content programs of Sambayanihan Serbisyo Sambayanan, the NAPC development plan from 2019 to 2023.
NAPC seeks to gather and mobilize people who are willing to volunteer or become Ka-sambayanihan as part of the cooperation of the entire people to address and suppress poverty.
