Castilla, Sorsogon — As a recognition of their untold contributions to their community as they reached the near-century mark of age, the Office of the Senior Citizens Affairs of the town made a visit to their humble dwellings distributing food packs as a sign of gratitude for their fortitude in beating the challenges of life.
The simple handover of the packages was a strong point of the social services agenda of Mayor Isagani Mendoza noting that the resiliency of these ordinary people becomes a window of inspiration for the young generation that healthy living extends a person’s life.
The town mayor mirrored the senior citizens as people of courage showing their resiliency to survive this time of the pandemic.
