Casiguran, Sorsogon – The daughter of Casiguran town mayor Edwin Hamor and Sorsogon City Mayor Ma. Ester Hamor early today in the presence of her family, close friends and political supporters announced her intention to seek the soon-to-be-vacated seat of her father, the incumbent mayor of their town.
Minez Hamor currently running the family construction business, in a message said that she will continue the development legacies of her parents Edwin and Ma. Ester. The parents served alternately as their town chief executive for two decades that transformed the once sleepy coastal municipality into a boomtown.
With this development the Hamor’s will have their hands full in 2022 election as mayor Edwin will seek the top provincial elective post while his wife is seeking re-election as Sorsogon City Mayor and the sister of Edwin, Doctor Grace Hamor Yu will challenge the incumbent mayor of Irosin town.
