CITY OF MASBATE – The City of Masbate was conferred a Bronze Award by the Civil Service Commission after it excels in the Level-2 Maturity Indicators in the systems, Practices and Competencies.
The three areas covered recruitment, selection and placement including management performance, learning and development also the rewards and recognition practices of the city.
The recognition was the result of the CSC Region V on-site assessment that complied with the PRIME-HRM Level-2 of the Maturity Indicators of all the core HRM systems.
The Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) integrates and enhances the Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP). It is a mechanism that empowers government agencies by developing their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices toward HR excellence.
PRIME-HRM entails greater engagement not just of the human resource management officer (HRMO) but also of the officials and the rank-and-file employees of the agency.
The award was received by city Mayor Rowena Tuason.
