Catanduanes Province off the Camarines Sur northeast coast closes its borders to travellers who have no entry permits.
This is the latest measure imposed by the province to prevent Covid-19 spread as NCR and nearby provinces are shaken by spike of Covid cases.
The Provincial government mandated that no one can enter the island province without the required S-PaSS account and approved Travel Coordination Permit or TCP.
Those planning to enter the province in any port of entry must register first under the S-PaSS system and wait for the approval of their TCP.
Due to heightened restrictions imposed in NCR+ (Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, at Rizal), only those who are APOR and Essential Travelers shall be given TCP and approval to enter Catanduanes.
This latest ruling is based on IATF guidelines.
