Authorities discovered two empty M203 grenades in a grassy area near the explosion scene that might been used in Bicol University in Legazpi City, Albay.
These findings came up in the wake of in depth investigation by PNP-EOD operatives regarding the explosion that took place inside the Bicol University Campus on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
Based on the investigation, their findings revealed that two consecutive explosions occurred in separate areas within the campus, but no one was injured by the blast.
So far, police have not determined the motive and identities of those behind the blast.
Security has been tightened at Bicol University, including neighboring establishments.
PNP Bicol is digging at every angle to find out the motive and identity of the perpetrators..
Police operations have been intensified in various parts of the Region to prevent similar incidents.
