His Excellency Michel Parys, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Philippines was welcomed by Mayor Sharon Rose G. Escoto and other LGU officials of Gubat, Sorsogon during his visit at the Gubat Heritage Center on 29 March 2022.
The Belgian ambassador with his wife, was joined by board directors of Gubat St. Anthony Cooperative (GSAC), and representatives of Trias and Synergy Project.
The visit is in line with the Ambassador’s intention to understand better and appreciate the efforts of Trias, a Belgian development organization focused on strengthening local Membership-Based Organizations (MBOs).
The GSAC is a long time MBO partner of Trias in Sorsogon, implementing programs towards social justice for farmers, fisherfolks, women, youth, and the underprivileged.
