Two road spillways overflowed with flood water, making them impassable to vehicles in Pilar Sorsogon.
The heavy rains on Thursday night until Friday had caused flood water to overflow
over the spillways of Barangays San Jose and Lourdes .
But, the Pilar Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) assured the concerned public that the flood water immediately subside after the rains.
According to Arnol Lista, Pilar MDRRMO officer, it is normal for the spill way to overflow during heavy rains, but it subsides immediately.
Some paddy fields were also flooded, according to Lista, but no houses were affected.
According to PAGASA, the effects of the shear line are the rains felt in the Bicol region that will last until tomorrow.
Pilar MDRRMO is monitoring residents near flooded and landslide prone areas.
