A motorcycle rammed into a top down tricycle, bursted into flame, burned the driver beyond recognition, and injured 4 others, including a minor.
The tragic incident happened 7pm, Saturday evening, December 18, 2021, at Sitio Palatay, Barangay Ponong, Casiguran, Sorsogon.
According to witnesses, the motorcycle bursted into flames upon hitting the tricycle with passengers onboard.
The motorcycle driver was almost burned into ashes when rescuers arrived at the scene.
Injured were Merly Federio (pregnant), Michael Hebres, 37, (driver of top down tricycle), Melisa Bahia, 35, and Jorge Bahia, 5, a minor, all residents of Barangay Inlagadian, same town.
Authorities had investigated the accident, but cannot established yet the identity of the burnt victim.
