Former Congressman Rolando “Nonoy” Andaya on Monday afternoon, November 15, withdrew his candidacy for Congressman of Camarines Sur 1st District, and instead filed his bid for Governor.

He replaced Russel Bañes, who had previously filed a COC for Governor under the Nationalist People’s Coalition.

Andaya’s sister, Maribel Eusebio-Andaya, replaced him to run for 1st District Representative.

Meanwhile, showbiz Anjo Yllana also withdrew his candidacy for Congressman of 4th District of Camarines Sur, and was replaced by former Mayor Antonio Chavez of San Jose.
