Preslee’s Homes’ Kapon Bicolandia 2 medical event for pets in Legazpi and Naga City, Aug 19, 20

Pet lovers can have their favorite pets undergo medical check up, or for castration (kapon) in Legazpi City, Albay Province on August 19, and in Naga City, Camarines Sur, on August 20, 2022.

However, pet owners must meet specified requirements as provided for by Preslee’s Home, a family owned, non-profit organization advocating for animal welfare & the promotion of responsible pet ownership.

Preslee’s Home is the organizer of Kapon Bicolandia 2, and the support it receives will be used towards the veterinary expenses & living needs of their rescued cats & dogs.

Kapon Bicolandia 2 is open to residents of Legazpi, Naga City & nearby areas. Non-exclusive, open to anyone from anywhere.

Venue of Kapon Bicolandia 2 is at:
August 19 – Gogon Elementary School, Legazpi City, Albay and on
August 20 – Ateneo de Naga, Naga City, Camarines Sur.

According to Preslee’s Home, its Spay & Neuter Fees are:
Cat: Male – P1000 | Female – P1200
Dog: Male – P2000 | Female – P2500

It also provides additional Services:

Anti Rabies – P200
4-in-1 Vaccine for Cats – P750*
5-in-1 Vaccine for Dogs – P500
Injectable Antibiotics for Cats only – P350
Pregnant Cat – P500
Pregnant Dog – Starts at P1000 (weight dependent)
*price increase as per supplier

Prelee’s Homes say that all online registrations must be paid in full to reserve their slots, with a maximum of two (2) pets per registration.

The pet clinic says it allows multiple or more than one (1) registration under the same name & email address.

The pet clinic issues its Registration guidelines:

Complete the form to register your pets. Only a maximum of two (2) pets per registration is allowed. If you have more than 2 pets, please register them all separately.
Pay for your registration in FULL through the provided payment options. Your proof of payment is required to successfully submit the form. Partial or incomplete payments are NOT allowed.
We will review your registration & audit all payments. When everything is clear, a confirmation email will be sent to you with the details of your registration after 48-hours or more.

Requirements for Pets under Kapon Bicolandia part 2:

Pets must meet the minimum age required (female cats at least 4 months, male cats at least 5-6 months & dogs at least 6-8 months). Pets below this age will not be accepted. Older pets are allowed subject to checking of health conditions. Cats must meet the minimum weight of 3kg.
Pets must be 100% healthy without recent sickness in the past month.
Updated vaccination is NOT required. You can also have your pets vaccinated during the event.
Pets should be fasted for at least 6 to 8 hours before the surgery time.
An exact sized and secure pet cage, crate or carrier is strictly required for cats and leash for dogs

Disallowed Pets: Short snout, snub nosed female pets like Shih Tzus are NOT recommended to join the event due to possibilities of breathing difficulty.

Laboratory tests like CBC & Blood Chem are required to make sure your pets are 100% fit for surgery. Please have your pets checked & tested two (2) days before the event.

If you are confident about your pets health & do not wish to have them tested, please sign the Against Medical Advice waiver found in the 2nd page of the PPBCC Consent Form.
