In Naga City, Camarines Sur, the long-awaited Bikol contemporary book “Ini An Totoo” by trimediaman Ernie Verdadero will be presented in a book launch early next month of February in Libis farm, San Isidro, Magarao, Camarines Sur.

The 253-page book, accompilation of Verdadero’s selected columns and articles for the past three years 2019-2021, published in a weekly column in Bicol Mail, a weekly newspaper in Naga City, deals on politics, media, family, history, etcetera.

Publication of the book was delayed by a few months last year due to the pandemic.

Book design was made by Vic Nierva, a Manila-based Bikolano academic and language expert, he also designed the book cover and did the book layout.

“Ini an Totoo” is a product of endless proddings by the author’s media friends from Nilo Aureus, Bicol Mail publisher and Goldprint Publishing Company proprietor, Ervin Borja and Bert de los Martirez, artist Frank Peñones, Professor Tito Valiente and novelist/columnist Greg Castilla.

Dr. Danilo M. Gerona Ph D, a well known national historian and Prof Rudy Baldemor, a peace and development consultant, wrote the preface and introduction, respectively.

Some of the most interesting articles and columns in the upcoming book are “Leni Na”, “Josal: Bulawan na Iribanan”, “May eleksyon daw?”, “Bikol Politics”, “Milaor Politics”, “Political Wil”, “Sara”, “Fortuno”, “Sarong Banggi at 50”, “Fr. OB SJ”,”Magayon an Musikang Bikolnon”, “Naga City 72 years old, Bicolmail 18 years magturugang sa pagtubod”,” “KBP ATRACS”, and “Plaza Kalamay”, among others .

The book is now available for sale at Goldprint office and by several volunteer agents region wide.
