Rodolfo Gaban and Gloria Gaban, a couple, died past 12 midnight earlier, on Monday, January 31, 2022, after two unknown gunmen shot them inside their house in Barangay Paco, Gubat, Sorsogon.
According to police report, the barangay captain called the Gubat Municipal Police Station, to report the incident.
At around 1:40 AM, the four children of the victims also went to the police.
They are Melgie Gaban, 21, Ronel Gaban, 18, a minor, 16, and another minor, 10.
Two unknown persons entered their home and shot Rodolfo, while Gloria begged, but was also shot dead.
The suspects escaped on a motorcycle.
Meanwhile, it will be recalled that on January 15, 2022, a couple from Barcelona, Sorsogon were also shot.
As mentioned in the incident, the motive for the murder of the Gubatnon couple is still being investigated by the police.
