Gubat of Sorsogon Province is the pilot implementation site of “Project SuLo”, a training and development program supporting Sangguniang Kabataan Federations (SK Feds) and Local Youth Development Councils (LYDCs).
The project workshop aims to formulate a more proactive and inclusive Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP), 19-20 March in Lola Sayong EcoSurf Farm.
Conducted by Hirayang Kabataan, Project SuLo is part of Youth Leadership for Democracy (YouthLed), a project of The Asia Foundation (TAF) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Hirayang Kabataan (HK) is an NGO, which conducts leadership development programs that develop young Filipino leaders with the vision of a better Philippines led by youth.
The workshop, which was led by the Local Youth Development Office (LYDO), was participated by the Local Youth Development Council, Sangguniang Kabataan federation officers, municipal technical employees, and other youth stakeholders.
