“Drink and be merry” except to 20 villages in Camalig, Albay

Liquor ban in Camalig, Albay has been lifted, except for 20 barangays

This is based on Section 1.4 of Executive Order No. 44, p. 2021 issued by the LGU yesterday.

But, the EO also stated that it does not cover the 20 barangays where the ban on drinking and selling alcohol will remain due to presence of active COVID-19 cases.

These include the barangays of Cabangan, Gotob, Cotmon, Tagaytay, Palanog, Baligang, Ilawod, Quirangay, Comun, Calabidongan, Caguiba, Sua, Taladong, Binitayan, Brgy. 5, Libod, Anoling, Sumlang, Brgy. 7 and Brgy. Taplacon.

Strict enforcement of minimum health standards, such as wearing facemask and faceshield, proper hand hygiene and physical distancing.

Curfew hours remain in effect from 9:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Some individuals are not allowed to leave the house unless they are APOR (Authorized Person Outside of Residence) or necessary for important purposes and reasons.

These include children ages 0 -14 years old, adults age 65 -years and older, individuals with high -risk health issues and pregnant women.

The town of Camalig remains in the General Community Quarantine (GCQ) classification.
