Three residents of Sorsogon City East district were reported by DOH Bicol and confirmed by the city health office were infected by COVID-19 Delta Variant. The confirmation was made by the CHO during the regular session of the city council today September 21.
The individuals affected have since recovered but surveillance is still done by health authorities including those that they have encountered and are in contact with.
These are different from the recent variant positive resident of Barangay Bibincahan which was one of the two earliest Delta cases of the province.
