There is currently talk of setting up a Cancer Center in Sorsogon as part of the overhauling of the province’s health care system.
In a meeting with Governor Chiz Escudero recently, Dr. Joel Resubal, a Radiation Oncologist and cancer specialist, said the placement of the Cancer Center in the province will surely bring great relief to cancer patients who usually go to other hospitals in the cities of Naga, Legazpi or Manila.
Dr. Resubal said modern equipment will be placed at the Sorsogon Cancer Center.
