Sorsogon Province – As reported by Sorsogon Provincial Health Office the recorded positive cases of COVID-19 is 20. Seven from Sorsogon City, 3 from Juban, 2 from the town of Pto. Diaz and Matnog, 1 each in Barcelona, Casiguran and Castilla. Also Bulan and Pilar towns recorded 1 positive case.
The positive cases are a close contact of registered Bicol Patient. It was also noted that one is a locally stranded individual from Malate recorded as Bicol Patient No. 6562 and another has travel history from Taal, Batangas.and a close contact of Bicol Ptient No. 61.68.
Among the 20 positive cases 3 are minors
The province as of the latest count has 1008 cases, 811 among them have recovered and 164 cases are active. The death toll stands at 33.
Also in the latest count 5 individuals were sent home after recovering from COVID-19.
