Suspect nabbed for killing Ateneo De Naga female student in Pili, Camarines Sur

A suspect in the killing of missing Ateneo student Irish Mae Payonga was nabbed by police operatives in Pili, Camarines Sur.

Arrested was Reymark Belleza, 18 years old, pedicab driver, and resident of Barangay Cadlan, Pili, Camarines Sur where the gruesome crime was committed.

Authorities alleged the suspect has either knowledge about the killing or involved in the incident

According to Barangay kagawad Virgilio Atis, the suspect is Reymark Belleza, a resident of Cadlan.

However, there are suspicions that the suspect pedicab driver might be a fall guy.

Netizen Jerwin Roy R. Villacruz expressed caution in sensationalizing the arrest of the suspect in his post in social media
“Remember that the person is still qualified as a suspect. He has not been proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt that he is the one who committed the crime.” Villacruz said in his post.

The missing Ateneo de Naga University female student, Irish Mae Payonga, was found dead, naked in a grassy lot in Cadlan . on Monday, October 30.

She was reported missing on Friday, October 28.

Her last message before she disappeared was saying goodbye that she was going to attend a church service at the CWC, Pili via text message.

CWC is a water sports resort at the Provincial Capitol complex in Pili. It is also the favorite place where tourist sex perverts stalk the area.

The victim had no clothes on and was covered with sacks of cement when she was found by children searching for scrap junks in the area.

The victim was a resident of Zone 1, Barangay Marupit, Camaligan, Camarines Sur.
