The switch-on ceremony of the Sorsogon provincial capitol park at around six in the evening yesterday is now a must-see for promenades as it was transformed into a “tree of light”. It symbolizes that the coming years will be brighter for all Sorsoganons. It silently speaks its message.
The highly anticipated ceremony crowds gather and readied their phones for the best shot to flood their social media accounts and tag their faraway friends of the must-see extravaganza.
Adorned by led lights, Christmas lanterns, and multi-design colored lights the decade-old trees were a contrast to two years of austere highlights because of the pandemic. The provincial government’s initial park decorations will have a big splash more than the usual highlights will adorn the park as days near for the Simbang Gabi.
This yuletide celebration will carry a magical display themed at Disney land to uplift the spirit of children hoping to give them the experience of what it looks like if they celebrate Christmas at a foreign Disney park. It is as awesome as one may imagine.
Many are expecting to be part of the magical celebration as it embodies the spirit of oneness and commitment to give the best for Sorsogon as it lives to the mantra of “Una an Sorsoganon.”
