A policeman who is a member of the 93rd Special Action Company under the 9th Special Action Battalion of the PNP Special Action Force in Cagmanaba, Oas, Albay was injured after being shot by a fellow policeman right inside their camp this Friday afternoon, September 16.
The 40-year-old victim suffered a bullet wound in the right arm.
In the initial investigation, it appears that the victim was sleeping inside his barracks when a fellow police officer who was a Special Action Company officer just shot him.
It is said that the official suspect was under the influence of alcohol when the shooting happened.
The investigation into the motive of the crime is still ongoing.
