The Department of Health has recorded 14,749 additional cases of COVID-19. Meanwhile, 10,720 were cured and 270 died on Sunday, August 15, 2021.
Of the total number of recorded cases in the country, 5.9% (102,748) were active cases, 92.4% (1,608,528) were cured, and 1.74% (30,340) died.
According to the latest report, all laboratories were operational on August 13, 2021 while there were 3 laboratories that failed to submit data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System (CDRS). Based on data over the past 14 days, the contribution of these 3 labs was approximately 0.9% in all samples tested and 1.1% in all positive individuals.
