Mayor Rosal alarmed on 71 new Covid-19 cases in Legazpi City

Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal on Saturday was alarmed that the City registered 71 new Covid-19 cases in one day.

“This is record for a day”, Rosal said in his social media post.

In anticipation, Rosal opened the city-owned Legazpi City Hospital for senior citizens with mild to moderate positive cases.

“We will open additional isolation facilities,” the Mayor said.

He reminded the people to stay home unless working, or essential.

He ordered for temporary stop to mass gatherings at live shows or bands.

“Let’s follow health advisories, otherwise these cases will increase,” Mayor Rosal reminded his constituents.

“I will close establishments violating health protocols and related advisories,” he warned.

“Stay calm. I will update you on actions to be taken by the local Task Force on Covid-19.”
