A total of 4 drivers tested positive out of 19 who were flagged down for possible violation of R.A. 10586, or the Anti- Drunk and Drugged Driving Act during last night’s operation of “Oplan Ligtas Kalsada Kontra Droga” in Barangay Tambo, Pamplona, Camarines Sur.
Aside from R.A. 10586, LTO operations pursuant to R.A. 8794 or the Anti-Truck Overloading Law were also conducted leading to a total of 30 trucks flagged down.
Out of the 30, ten (10) overloaded trucks were apprehended for violation of said law.
The enforcement team was composed of 34 enforcers from LTO Region 5, LTO Central Office, PNP-Pamplona, the PNP-Crime Lab, and DPWH Region 5.
