All 13 Land Transportation Office (LTO) offices – including the Regional Law Enforcement Unit – had conducted various enforcement activities, since October 29, until November 2, covering key Bicol areas.

District and regional law enforcers had conducted garage and terminal inspections to ensure the road-worthiness of PUVs.

They also checked passenger vehicles for compliance with health and safety protocols, specifically the “7Commandments” of DOTr.

The LTO, on the other hand, had focused on roadside inspections in areas of convergence to increase the visibility of enforcement, and serve as warning to those who may violate traffic laws and road safety rules.
