Governor Escudero’s uncle, Carlos E. Hagosojos, fishing port manager of Bulan, Sorsogon, dies of heart failure

Carlos E. Hagosojos, Governor Chiz’s uncle and Bulan, Sorsogon port manager passed away due to heart failure.

Carlos Escudero Hagosojos, Port Manager of Philippine Fisheries Development Authority (PFDA) in Bulan, Sorsogon died due to cardiac arrest, Monday morning, June 28, 2021, this was confirmed to Bicol Express News by his nephew, Zandro Hagosojos.

According to Zandro, his uncle Carlos was taking a bath when he suffered that fatal stroke.

He was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital in Bulan town, but was pronounced dead by the attending physician.

Carlos Hagosojos is the instrument of development projects in various ports in the country, before his re-assignment in Sorsogon he was the Port Manager in General Santos City.

In the latest shared post in his social media account, the Local Government of Pio Duran, Albay thru Councillor Bon Edward Arandia Barnido thanked Hagosojos for sharing his time and thoughts.

The Local Government Unit of Pio Duran under Mayor Alan Arandia and Vice Mayor Marvin Appamp Quiroz, the Sangguniang Bayan Members, and Department heads, conducted a successful benchmarking in the Philippine Fisheries Development Authority at Bulan, Sorsogon, for the construction and implementation of the Central Fishlanding in the Municipality of Pioduran.

Pio Duran Councilor Barnido said, the undertaking aims to realize the establishment to become accessible infrastructure terminal for unloading or loading of fish and other aquatic products, the centralization of fish trading activities in the area, and thereby harnessing a conducive business climate.

“The reduction of spoilage fishery products through the enforcement, fast, systematic, sanitary and hygienic practices develop and boost the fishing industry of the Municipality,” Barnido said.

“Truly, this benchmarking activity helped us gather effective practices in raising up proper rules and regulations by the supervision of the PFDA to become an effective Central Fishlanding in Municipality of Pio Duran.”
