As of 4 PM today, the Department of Health recorded 12,674 cases of COVID-19 with 593 recoveries and 225 deaths.
Out of the nationwide total 22.3% or 190,245 cases are active with 648,220 recoveries which is 76.0% of the total cases and the 14,744 deaths is 1.73% of the statistics.
However according to the latest data there were 19 duplicate cases that were removed from the total case count. Out of this 7 are recoveries and 1 accounted as death. Moreover, the 49 cases as recoveries after final validation are deaths. The number may increase for upon the submission of three laboratory data to the COVID-19 Document Repository System today.
