Displaced workers and vendors affected by the pandemic will get their “booster shots” in the form of government assistance package to “jump start” their lost livelihood.
In Castilla, Sorsogon, Mayor Isagani “Bong” Mendoza, in partnership with the local DOLE and PESO offices, will distribute assistance package called “Kabuhayan Starter Kit” to workers who lost their jobs and vendors affected by the pandemic.

Included in some of the assistance are welding, meat processing, and vending accessories that can be used as “start up” for livelihood, including training from the DOLE Livelihood Program.
Mayor Mendoza is known in the province for maximizing use of government agencies in inducing growth and development for the people of Castilla.
