Castilla,Sorsogon — As the town dispenses programs for client satisfaction, this time assistance in the amount of five thousand pesos was given to mothers of newly delivered infants under the Child Birth Program as part of the 7K provincial initiative for better health.
The town funded two thousand pesos and the remaining was from the provincial government of Sorsogon. Castilla was the first town to benefit from the assistance and also the first one to implement the program under the new provincial administration.

Some of the qualified recipient mothers cuddling their newborns with husbands in tow gladly receive assistance from Mayor Isagani “Bong” Mendoza.
