Bicol songwriter and music producer Karl Ramirez launched a song for good governance, a week before election day.
Bangon Tinambac is an anthem for change and good governance that identifies with the advocacy of Presidential aspirant Leni Robredo and of Anduyog party in Tinambac,Camarines Sur.
According to Ramirez, this is a song that speaks of servant leadership, people’s participation, and most especially transparency in governance.
Principles that are very much valued by the song’s co-producers Tinambac councilor aspirants Marion Abiog and Oming Velarde, he said.
Ramirez is a frequent nominee at the PMPC Star Awards who bagged awards from PMPC and FAMAS for his compositions and musical scores.
“Bangon Tinambac” was composed, arranged, recorded and performed by Ramirez in his own home studio in Camarines Sur.
Bicol language expert Victor Dennis Nierva is consultant for the lyrics of Bangon Tinambac.
