School Calendar for SY 2022-2023, will start on Monday August 22 this year, as Dep-Ed outlines the school calendar and activities for the coming school year.
It said the School Year 2022-2023 will open on August 22, 2022 to end on July 7, 2023 with 203 school days that may be changed depending on unforeseen circumstances.
The in-person 5 days school year is a commitment of DepEd in spite of the health crisis brought by COVID-19 and covered by DO 034,-2022.
For SY2023-2024, it will start on August 28, 2023 to end on June 28, 2024, and SY 2024-2025 will be from August 26, 2024 up to June 27, amended.
The Alternative Learning System (ALS) will open on August 22, and its program duration will be based on the learners’ educational background, or existing knowledge level prior to enrolling.
