In an advisory the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) is temporarily stopping the admission on its emergency room saying that it would only worsen the condition of patients needing intensive care treatment, high flow oxygen and ventilators.
The hospital, a COVID referral facility urged the public to contact their Transfer command center and understanding. Earlier this month it also stops accepting patients with a non-COVID-related case. It is handling more than a hundred patients infected by the virus that needs intensive care treatment, high flow of oxygen and ventilators.
The advisory did not mention when it will resume the admission in their emergency room.
