Two persons died in Masbate Province after Typhoon Jolina ravaged the area, according to latest data released by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Bicol on Thursday afternoon.
The two, aged 28 and 39, from Cawayan and Placer towns, drowned during the onslaught of the typhoon.
In Masbate, 13 others were reported missing and 3 were injured.
Up to 888 houses were damaged in Masbate, 698 houses were partially damaged and 190 were totally damaged.
2,105 families or 8,552 persons are still staying in evacuation centers.
OCD earlier reported that Typhoon Jolina had impacted damages in agriculture, fisheries and infrastructure in the region, valued at 64 million pesos.
