In street lingo, it’s give-and-take and reciprocation.
The Catanduanes Provincial Government has moved to donate Php 1 million for the Sorsogon Provincial Government as aid to affected families dislocated by the recent Bulusan Volcano eruptions.
The motion was initiated by Catanduanes Governor Joseph Cua at the Provincial Development Council meeting on June 14, which was approved by the Council.
Cua’s move was to reciprocate the assistance Catanduanes received from Sorsogon in the aftermath of super Typhoon Rolly’s widespread destruction over Catanduanes in November, 2020.
According to Governor Cua, they have to give assistance to Sorsogon to return the gratitude.
