Six (6) Civil Engineering students from Ateneo de Naga University, Naga City, Camarines Sur, were given recognition internationally.
The ADNU KNKR2 team won 3rd Place in the Fall 2021 Eco Concrete Competition of American Concrete Institute International, on October 17, 2021.
The team represented the Philippines in the competition, which also featured 13 other finalists from other countries, including Ecuador, Bangladesh, the United States, and Peru.
The 2 civil engineer mentors of the team are Engineer Khim Cathleen Saddi, ME-CE (Chairperson, ADNU Civil Engineering Department) and Engineer Mark Billy I. Furio.

The Eco Concrete competition was centered on environmental performance in concrete mix design.
On Monday, the Naga City Council commended the eco engineering team through resolution of commendations for the team and their school in giving the City and Country recognition and honor.
