As expected, the political bond between Castilla and Casiguran town executives was evident on September 23 during the consultation of political leaders.
At that time, Edwin “Boboy” Hamor urged the leaders to close ranks in the re-election of Mayor Isagani ”Bong” Mendoza on May 9, 2022.
Hamor dispelled hope of political patronage from other hopefuls intending to challenge Mendoza’s re-election bid.
He said that there’s no better alternative to lead Castilla at this time than Mendoza.
Casiguran Mayor Hamor is seeking the Governorship of Sorsogon.
Mendoza said that Castilla will boom for three years as its partnership with Hamor as Governor will usher in new infrastructure projects to be funded by the Province, and from outside sources channeling more funds to social services, in line with the 7K development program as envisioned by the aspiring Governor.
Recently, Mendoza secured the support of thirty barangay chairmen of the town.
