The signing of the Community Based Monitoring System (CBMS) and Data Turn over Agreement with the Philippine Statistic Authority and the Provincial government of Sorsogon will have a positive impact on planning and implementation of priority programs that are felt needs of Sorsoganons.
The data will guide development councils to see critical areas needing development or upgrading as it incorporate the strategies laid out in the 7K flagship program of the present provincial leaders.
The data are accurate information that identifies the needs and conditions of a locality that without its plans and programs directions will not address the community development that may have a negative impact on the achievable goals of the 7K agenda.
The CBMS is like a blue book which the provincial and municipal legislative bodies can take a cue on the kind of legislation to be crafted base on the on-hand data identified.
It likewise solidifies the development approach applicable in a community in terms of social amelioration, public works, education, health, peace and order, environment protection that may create a positive impact on climate change.
