Governor and SPDRRMC Chairman Edwin “Boboy” B. Hamor held an emergency briefing with the Provincial Local Government Units’ Department Heads.
The meeting focused on preparations for the potential threats and impacts of the incoming weather disturbance, internationally named Man-YI (Pepito).
Governor Hamor also personally briefed key staff from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and the Sorsogon Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (SPDRRMO) on the current situation, ensuring readiness for any necessary response.
SPDRRMC also had the honor of welcoming Regional Director Norman S. Laurio from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 5 – Bicol Region, who made a courtesy visit to Governor Hamor as part of ongoing interagency coordination.
