Sorsogon City gov’t adapts skeletal workforce until April 30

With the surge of the number of city residents affected by COVID-19, city mayor Ma. Ester E. Hamor through Executive Order No. 9-2021 implemented an alternate work arrangement thereby reducing the number of employees to service the transacting public.

The skeletal workforce exempts those that are in the frontline service will be in force until April 30, 2021. The public is advised to bear this little inconvenience to prevent and safeguard everyone from the continuing risk of the virus.

Stricter health precautionary measures were ordered and taking meals in a group in the office is discouraged for the risk of contracting the virus is high. Employees should render assistance not more than 30 minutes and face to face interaction with clients should be observed with proper distancing, wearing of a face mask and shield is required.
