Three (3) drug suspects died in an alleged shoot out with policemen during a drug buy bust operation in Oas, Albay on Tuesday, July 20.
The 3 drug suspects were residents of Valenzuela City.
Killed were Ramon Mutuc alias Omar, a Bahala Na Gang member,
Jose Maria Arvin Bautista, 28, driver of getaway car, and Gregorio Garcia, 42, a mechanic.
According to initial report, Mutuc handed over 10 grams of illegal drug shabu to a cop poseur-buyer for the amount of Php 40,000.
Then, the drug suspects allegedly fired at the policemen upon sensing the entrapment.
The shooting occurred at Barangay Busac, Oas, noontime of Tuesday.
Recovered from the dead suspects were a cal .45 pistol and two cal .38 revolvers.
Meantime, Police Captain Malu Calubaquib, PNP-Bicol spokesperson, said that about 350-grams, or more than 1.7 million pesos worth of shabu were seized in the buy-bust operation.
According to report, several packages of suspected shabu were found inside the car, presumably for drop off in Legazpi City and Tabaco City, and to Catanduanes island-Province.
