Police on Thursday raided the house of the suspect in the murder of 5 relatives in Barangay Tarusanan, Milaor, Camarines Sur under a search warrant issued by the court.
Recovered inside the suspect’s house were 2 caliber .45; 3 magazines loaded with ammunition for caliber .45; hand grenade; a fired cartridge case of caliber .25mm; 1 magazine loader; 1 leather holster; 1 black pistol case; 2 ammunition cases with 82 live ammunition for caliber .45; and a Saguitarus air gun and air tank.
Duting the raid, the suspect is at large, still subject of police manhunt.
Authorities said the suspect will also face charges of violating RA 10591 and RA 9516 due to the recovered firearms, ammunition and explosives, apart from the multiple murder case filed against him.
Several days ago, the Milaor local government and former Camarines Sur Congressman Rolando Andaya have offered a total bounty of P600,000 reward to anyone who can point out the suspect’s whereabouts.
Rewinding back, on November 5, the suspect opened fire and threw a grenade at two houses in Barangay Tarusanan, killing 5 relatives, 3 of whom were children aged 4, 6 and 7.
The motive of the suspect is land dispute.
