MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism will be hosting an online forum to celebrate World Press Freedom Day on May 3, 2021, with prominent media personalities as its guest speakers.
It is open to media practitioners, campus journalists, and members of the academe and civil society organization which will be live-streamed on social media. From 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
May 3 is the World Press Freedom Day and the discussion is centered on The State of Media Freedom in the Philippines: Breaking barriers to bring information to the public.
The speakers are Melinda Quintos- de Jesus of CMFR, Jonathan de Santos of NUJP, Amalia Cabusao of PPI, Ruperto Nicdao Jr. of KBP, and Ging Reyes of ABS-CBN.#informationaspublic good#wpfd2021
